As the 2011 Hurricane Season comes to an end, we are grateful
that there was not too much activity this year. Even though
there was not much disaster relief to respond to, AmericasRelief Team has kept busy forming new partnerships, organizing
events and coordinating programs to benefit those in need in the
region.
|
 |
We are happy to share with you a recap of all the activity that
took place during the past year and our hope is to continue these
efforts for many years to come! |

Providing Aid In Livelihoods and Self-sustainability for the internally displaced persons of Haiti through targeted
self-employment initiatives. |

With the view that self-employment initiatives are an effective
tool for reconstruction and development, PAILS 4 Haiti provides
men and women internally displaced in Haiti, and in need of
sustainable livelihoods, with a compact medium by which to
employ their skills, become self-sufficient, and thereby less
reliant on humanitarian assistance and better able to reintegrate
into society. |
|
|
ART is proud to be working with the Greater Miami Society for
Human Resource Management (GMSHRM) to introduce this program to a variety of |
|
 |

Automotive Repair, and Beautician/Barber. The PAILS will be
distributed to internally displaced persons so that they can begin
