Who We Are

Americas Relief Team is an initiative of Outreach Aid to the Americas.

As the Americas Relief Team (ART) has expanded in experience and reach, we have increased our projects and initiatives across numerous countries throughout the region. We have identified a wide range of needs in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, and have carefully designed programs centered on relief, development, and advocacy to meet these challenges. In each nation, we have strengthened our network of local partners and gained essential knowledge and expertise to work effectively in diverse environments. Our goal remains to grow continuously and to positively impact the lives of as many people as possible.

To reaffirm our commitment to supporting vulnerable communities across many at-risk countries, ART has established a comprehensive approach that includes Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Response, and Humanitarian Action. We focus on equipping communities with the tools and training necessary to prepare for potential emergencies, enabling them to reduce risks and respond effectively when disasters occur.

In times of crisis, our Disaster Response teams mobilize rapidly to deliver immediate aid, including emergency supplies, medical assistance, and logistical support. Our Humanitarian Action programs are designed to provide sustained aid, addressing both urgent needs and long-term recovery efforts. For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we activated the ART Emergency Response to coordinate strategic actions such as fundraising, acquiring critical relief supplies, managing logistics, and partnering with government agencies and other relief organizations to assist those in need. Recently, the ART Emergency Response launched two separate “Relief Funds” to further bolster our ongoing efforts to deliver immediate aid and foster recovery throughout the regions we serve.
